For Weddings and Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, it is exciting to have food extravaganzas that children and adults alike will enjoy. To make it authentic, you can have a Druze woman at your event making traditional pita with labane and zaatar as one of your food attractions. Israeli weddings and Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, often have a traditional Israeli nut table or “Pizzochim,” where guests can fill bags of nuts and take them home as favors. We can execute what Israeli’s call a “party menu” or strolling meal, where your event’s food is served from different stations with the menu following the theme of event. Children at your event can literally be “kids let loose in a candy store” with a beautifully displayed candy table containing bins of licorices, gummies, hard candy and chocolates, set up like a free for all candy store where children can help themselves generously. We can also have popcorn machine, cotton candy, icee, snow cone or shaved ices, or hot pretzels. You can do a fruit smoothie bar, chocolate fountain with fruit and marshmallows to dip, and a crepe bar with choices of chocolate or fruit for the inside. Almost every private party in Israel these days has a coffee bar that serves cappuccinos, espressos, and that delicious frozen coffee treat that Israeli’s call “ice cafe.” Depending on whether it is a dairy or meat event, we can have an ice cream cart (Ben & Jerry’s does this), frozen yogurt bar or Sorbet bar, where guests can scoop their own and add toppings.
